Case Study: Research University

Advancement System Modernization

axsysTek worked with a Private Research University in Washington, DC to replace a legacy Advancement system as part of a university-wide CRM project.

Business Challenge 

The current Advancement application used outdated technology limiting University's ability to engage constituents through shared data and strategy. A new platform designed for enterprise use versus silos was needed to take advantage of new practices and grow the program. 

Solution 

Develop Salesforce.com university-wide solution to implement a “common core” CRM foundation concurrently with a new Donor Management and Major Gift solution. New system is integrated with other University and departmental systems and web applications.

Advancement, providing a critical link between constituents and the University, has a modern digital platform that allows for greater coordination across the entire University. It accommodates and provides a comprehensive view of a variety of constituents and organizations.
